Seeking a motivated individual for a Janitor position in Dunkirk, NY area.

Monday-Friday: 6:00pm-10:00pm

Pay: starting at $17.00/hr

Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Janitorial Lead. As a janitorial lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as break rooms, conference rooms, and hallways.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment and supplies are properly utilized and stored.
• Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good verbal communication skills to interact with coworkers and respond to basic inquiries.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
